- I retired from the Air National guard in 1991 as a SMSGT. During my assorted military military career I spent seven years on active duty. My earlier years were as a Offensive Fire Control System Technician from 1961-1964 on F-105s. After joining the ANG I was a full time technician working on F-102s and F-106's. I went back on active duty in 1974 for a three year tour as a project manager at Robins AFB, GA. I later was assigned as the Chief of Maint for the Comm flight. I have a MBA and have expanded my interest in how we got to where we are today.
